Hi, my name is Baylee

So happy to meet you! In the spirit of keeping things transparent, I want to give you some information about me. Growing up, my family moved to a new state every two to three years. Once I got to my senior year of high school, my parents were getting ready to move again. I decided to stay behind to start my own life. I graduated from high school class of 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and enrolled at Colorado State University - Fort Collins, Go Rams. I did my four years' time there and finished with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Technical Science Communication. Shortly after graduation, I peaced out to Phoenix, Arizona. I was in Arizona for about twoish years before I decided I needed to branch out. I moved to Miami, Florida, in March of 2021. While living in Miami, I finished up my Master of Education in Sports and Athletic Management. After a little over a year of living my absolute best life in Miami, in May of 2022, I moved up to my parents’ place in New York - I needed a reset on life, a moment to relax, if you will.

Now, I live in Houston, Texas, and I am working on my Master of Business Administration.

Did I mention that I had been working this entire time? While studying at CSU, I had three jobs. After graduating, I struggled a bit to find a job, but I knew exactly what I wanted to do and wouldn’t settle for anything else. In September 2019, I started my career in Academic Advising. In 2021, I made a departmental switch to Learning and Development, and now we are here! I am the Associate Director of an amazing Learning and Development team - supporting the Student Operations department.

Whew, that was a lot, still with me? I hope so.
